Work that actually changes things
Individual therapy can be incredibly powerful when you are ready to learn more about yourself and take steps toward significant changes in your life.
You may not even know what those changes look like yet, but you know something isn’t quite right. If that sounds familiar, you’re probably in the right place.
Let’s work toward a life that feels as good as it looks.
From the outside, things probably look fine—maybe even good. But something inside you feels out of alignment. You might feel anxious, stuck, self-critical, or stretched thin in ways you can't quite explain to the people around you. You might be moving through a real transition—a relationship ending, a new baby, an empty nest, a career change, a loss—and need space to figure out what you actually want, not just what's expected of you.
A lot of my clients are high-functioning people who are quietly struggling underneath a life that works. You don't have to be in crisis to benefit from therapy. You just have to be ready to look closer.
What we might work on
What we might work on
Anxiety & Depression
Anxiety that doesn't let up. A dysregulated nervous system. A low mood you can't shake. Addictive behaviors that are no longer serving you. A critical inner voice that never clocks out. With practical tools—including CBT and EMDR—alongside the deeper emotional work, you’ll leave with more clarity and something concrete to help you feel more balanced and less at war with your own mind.
Relationships & Intimacy
Whether it's a pattern in dating, tension at home, or wanting real intimacy and connection, relationships are often where our deepest work shows up. Whether you’re wanting support with dating, sex and intimacy, beginning or ending a relationship, or wanting to explore how to improve your partnerships or marriage, we'll look at what's getting in the way and build the skills to actually change it.
Career & Life Transitions
When work takes over everything, it’s hard to remember who you are outside of it. Career stress, interpersonal conflict, a job change, a promotion you're not sure you want: this is where my background outside of therapy is often most useful, because I understand the world you're operating in. I specialize in working with clients in tech, start-ups, corporations, and entrepreneurs. Together we can get clarity on what you truly desire and create a plan to get your there.
Family & Parenting
Parenting can be one of your most rewarding roles, as well as one of the most challenging. As a parent of two young adults myself, I draw upon my professional training as well as my personal experience to support you. Whether you're adjusting to life with a new baby or navigating the world of teens and adult children, I’m here to help you and your family move through these transitions with more confidence and ease.
Food, Body & Self-Image
Food, weight, and body image can take up more space in your mind than you'd like: the constant tracking, the rules, the war with the mirror. Together we'll trace where these patterns started and what they're protecting you from, so you can build a relationship with food and your body that isn't ruled by obsession or restriction. The goal isn't perfection; it's freedom to live your life without food and body image running the show.
Trauma Recovery & EMDR
If something in your past still shows up in your body or your relationships today—through anxiety, hypervigilance, flashbacks, or a loop you can't seem to exit—trauma-focused work, including EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing), can help you move through it, not just manage around it. Together we will safely explore the roots of your painful past experiences working with your limiting beliefs, body, mind and emotions in order to help you integrate and heal. I continue to be blown away by the process and end results of this work.
How I work
My approach is personal and collaborative. Some sessions go deep and emotional. Others are practical, focused on a specific problem you're trying to work through. Both are part of the process.
Before I was a therapist, I spent years in advertising and marketing, and that background still shapes how I work—especially with clients navigating high-pressure careers, ambitious goals, and a kind of depletion most people around them don't see.
I bring a direct, practical lens alongside the emotional work: when it's useful, we talk concretely about what's not working and what to actually do about it. Not everything has to be heavy. I bring a sense of humor into the room and welcome yours, too.
Where it fits, I also draw upon EMDR to help you move through trauma or stuck patterns that talk therapy alone hasn't resolved. The tools matter less than whether you feel understood—I tailor how I work to what's genuinely useful for you.
